GO FOR THE BEST

Sometimes we call some people perfectionist because they won't accept  9/10, all they want is 10/10. It's good to let go but then it is better to go for the best. Aim for the peak, pursue excellence.  There are over one million people who can do what you are doing, the question is,  how do you differ from them? The difference would only be seen in your ability to make or perform in a more excellent way and manner.

Never settle for anything lesser than the best.  Let people call you 'The Perfectionist', it's their view, let them live and stay with that. There is beauty in excellence and there is joy in being a professional in what you do. It's funny how some people, in their attempt to save time, they sometimes produce or get something close to the best.  Listen, something close to the best is still not the best. The best remains the best.

In any field or discipline you find yourself. Ensure you are the best and you are giving out the best both in quality and quantity. Intentionally, consciously and successfully pursue excellence. For me, there is this joy that comes from having something the world is looking out for. Think about this. Some people may love something close to the best. We hear people say "I cannot come and die", "I cannot kill myself". We all know it is important to rest when it is needed however, this shouldn't be confused for pursuing excellence.  Be excellent in all you do no matter what it will cost you.  Make sure you stay devoted, committed and dedicated to the services you render and ensure you are giving out nothing but the best. Pursue excellence, value excellence and go for excellence.

Again, I say, there is beauty in excellence and there is joy and fulfilment in having the best. Decide on your own to pursue excellence even when others seem not to be interested.  Have you seen  a student crying because he/she scored 90/100. Often times, we say such students are ungrateful but the truth is, most of the people in this category are out for best and not something close to the best. All they want is excellence and nothing less.  I know there are exceptional cases.  For me, this illustration is a message that says even when you have something that looks like what you want,  don't go for it wait until you have what you want.  Don't relent. Go for the best.

    Very inspiring and educative MA. Even the Bible will remind us to study to show ourselves approved unto "God"... We shouldn't allow men determine at what instance we're at best bringing about relaxation but to pursue excellence since God has inputted it in us.

    We don't struggle to be success, just like we don't struggle to breath.
    Excellence should be our lifestyle but
