THE CLOCK IS TICKING

THE CLOCK IS TICKING

The countdown was awesome. There's this feeling of watching the clock tick past 12 on the last day of the year. It's indescribable. We waited for the countdown and finally we are in a brand new year. But the clock will continue to tick until calendars flip twelve times and the year is over again.
So you can simply count the days or make it count.

This year, separate yourself from the crowd of "this year dey run o" and yet not doing anything spectacular to make it count.
I know you've heard this before but I feel it's worth restating: insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. You don't want that definition to apply to you this year. If you want real change, you'd have to change. Things will only change for the better if "you" change for the better.

So sit back, introspect and make amendments before you set out to achieve the goals you designed for the year. Call yourself to a meeting and ask yourself key questions. What goals did you set for last year? What stopped you from achieving some of them? What can you do to ensure these setbacks don't pose a threat to your 2020 goals?

Sometimes, we are held back by our pasts because we don't allow it teach us these three lessons: learn, unlearn and relearn.
What's more, there is no time anywhere. The clock is ticking and you need to make every moment count. The seconds are important, every minute counts and every day is an opportunity to give another shot at your goals.

Don't relent this season, do more to get more. Follow through on your plans, explore, expand, increase, improve and keep learning. Remember, there are victories without battle.

Have a rewarding year!
